It’s been a while since I’ve written here. And it’s mostly a combination of several factors, laziness, personal events, being busy on my current projects.

Anyway, since I thought that the last article I wrote here was about my reflections on Q1 of 2024, might as well follow up with my reflections of Q2 2024.

This year has been both fun and depressing at times. Maybe because I keep getting reminded that I’m getting older. 😁

Before, I used to attend debuts, weddings, and birthday parties. Nowadays, it’s more wakes and funerals. With the exception of the pandemic, this is probably one of those years I have felt more loss than ever.

Anyway, looking back at my business performance for Q2 of this year, while it’s not as good as the previous quarter, it was less stressful, more enjoyable, and I actually got to spend time with family whenever I wanted to.

One of the reasons I pursued a freelancing career was to be able to just do that. And while the business has its challenges, it also has had its rewards.

September is already one week in, and in a few weeks, Q3 will be over. I look forward to the challenges of the upcoming buying season, especially as this will be heading into the holidays.

What about you? Have you made any changes or progress on your goals for this year?

Hope you are all having a good year and look forward to ending this year on a positive note!
