Musings in the Rain

It’s been raining a lot recently.

And in some parts of the Philippines, they’ve been heavily affected by the tropical storm.

If you’re able to help, please do so.

Now this post is not to sound insensitive about other people’s current situation.

But one thing I don’t miss from working in an office is traveling to work, especially when it’s raining.

When I was an agent, it was difficult to travel to and from the office. Especially since I resided outside the metro.

When I got promoted, it was almost always expected for you to be there, rain or shine, or whatever the weather conditions may be.

Because as leaders, you kind of have to set the example.

But sometimes, and especially nowadays, streets would get flooded, commuting would be a nightmare, and going to the office would be difficult.

Which is what I enjoy now about being a freelancer.

Working from home affords me the opportunity to stay indoors while going through my daily grind.

I also get to enjoy hanging around with family and my dogs and sometimes watch my favorite shows in the background.

Now, if you’re interested in learning how you can do this too, my friends and I came up with a virtual summit called “Spells 4 Success.”

It’s a virtual summit where we share our skills and experience and show how you can get into the world of freelancing or use these for your online business.

If that’s something that might interest you, head on over to www.spells4success.com and register for free.
