Happy Monday everyone!

How was your weekend?

My mom recently had an eye operation, and it went okay, but the doctor had some restrictions on things she could do.

So last weekend, she asked me to help out with the laundry.

Now, I’m not really good at doing the laundry. I lived on my own for some time while I was in college, and during my early adult days, I was boarding in a house near work, and while I did get my clothes washed by a laundry shop, there were times I had to do the laundry myself.

While helping my mom with the laundry, I quickly remembered some things we needed to do…

Separate the colored ones, from the white ones, the shirts and shorts and pants, etc.

After segregating them, we put them in the washing machine, and then let them wash for a few minutes, then you soak them, then put them back in the dryer, and then hang the clothes to fully dry.

Why am I sharing this?

Well, aside from the fact that we could all use some help with washing our clothes, we can all benefit by having a process in place.

Whenever you have a task that you feel is overwhelming, be it a pile of dirty laundry, dirty dishes, or work deliverables, as long as you have a process, you can never go wrong.

Work on the first few important things, break them down, and then take action.

I hope you find some motivation in my story.

Have a great week ahead!
