I was watching the anime Zom 100 over the weekend, and a quote from one character hit home:
“Freedom is tough. You have to make every decision yourself.”
This rings especially true for freelancers and entrepreneurs, especially in those early bootstrapping days. Every decision falls squarely on your shoulders. Yet, this independence is what makes the journey incredibly rewarding — setting your schedule, maximizing your income, and choosing your projects. It’s all worth it. But remember, you have to weather some rough patches to reach the brighter days. Like that old song says, “You can’t get to no better days, unless you make it through the night”
