Hello again Copy Jedi Knights!

In our previous articles, we explored the art of writing effective call-to-actions (CTAs) in emails. We covered using action-oriented language and creating urgency through scarcity. Now, let’s dive deeper into these concepts and see them in action.

In today’s edition, we’ll take a look at an example using these concepts.

Remember our discussion on using specific language that prompts action? Take a look at this sample email I wrote for Liquid Death:

Subject: Choose Your Own Adventure with Liquid Death

Hey [First Name],

You know what’s great about Liquid Death? You can do whatever you want with it. No, really, we mean it. You can:

● Chug it like a frat bro on spring break

● Sip it slowly while pondering life’s mysteries

● Use it as a weapon to fend off zombies (hey, it’s possible)

We won’t judge you. We just want you to stay hydrated, and if you can have a little fun while doing it, all the better.

In fact, we challenge you to create your own Liquid Death adventure. Take a can with you on your next hike, to your yoga class, or to your Zoom meeting (just don’t spill it on your keyboard). Share a photo or video of yourself using the hashtag #LiquidDeathAdventure, and we’ll feature our favorites on our social media channels.

And in case you needed more incentive to join the fun, here’s a little reminder of what Liquid Death can do for you:

● Keep you hydrated without harming the planet

● Provide a refreshing alternative to boring old water

● Make you feel like a badass (we won’t tell anyone if you start doing bicep curls with the cans)

So go ahead, [First Name], do whatever you want. And if that involves drinking Liquid Death, well, we won’t argue with that.

Cheers,

The Liquid Death Team

P.S. Want to stock up on Liquid Death and save some cash? Check out our website for bulk options and subscribe for regular deliveries. It’s the responsible (and fun) thing to do. Hurry and avail yourself of our limited-time offer!

As you can see from the email above, using action-oriented language and scarcity helps your emails become more engaging, compelling your readers to take action.

Recap:

  • Action-oriented language prompts immediate action.
  • The Liquid Death email exemplifies this approach with fun and adventurous options.
  • Highlight the benefits of your offer to motivate your audience.
  • Incorporating scarcity and a call-to-action adds urgency to your message.

I hope you found value in this lesson.

If you need assistance in crafting powerful CTAs or want to explore more ways to enhance your email marketing, let’s connect and discuss your needs.

May the force of persuasive CTAs be with you!
